1. Introduction
IdeaJam, Inc. (“IdeaJam,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is an AI-powered talent development platform that helps organizations scale employee coaching and skill-building. IdeaJam’s platform includes the Ideal 100™ network of AI Expert Coaches, Practice Mode, Dialog, Coaching experiences, and real-time performance dashboards (collectively, the “Services”).
This Privacy Policy explains how IdeaJam collects, uses, shares, and protects information when individuals and organizations access or use the Services. By using the Services, you acknowledge the practices described below.
2. Who This Policy Applies To
This Privacy Policy applies to:

Employees and team members using IdeaJam through an organizational subscription

Company administrators and HR or L&D professionals managing accounts

Individual subscribers and trial users

Visitors to IdeaJam websites

3. Information We Collect
A. Information You Provide
When you or your organization creates an account or uses the Services, we may collect:

Name, email address, phone number, job title, and employer

Account credentials and billing information

Communications, support requests, and survey responses

AI Coach configuration settings and coaching preferences

Uploaded files, training materials, and Customer Content (see Section 4)
B. Coaching & Learning Activity Data
As you use IdeaJam’s coaching, practice, and dialog features, we collect activity and performance data, including:

Session activity, participation records, and interaction history with AI Expert Coaches

Skill development progress, assessment results, scores, and completion rates

Practice Mode, Dialog, and Coaching session logs

Engagement metrics, usage frequency, and feature utilization

Organizational performance metrics and benchmarking data (for enterprise accounts)
C. Technical & Device Information
We automatically collect certain technical information when you access the Services:

IP address, browser type, device information, and operating system

Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 9)
4. Customer Content
Organizations (“Customers”) may upload proprietary materials to build Customized AI Expert Coaches or configure coaching programs on the IdeaJam platform. This “Customer Content” may include:

Training manuals, policies, procedures, and playbooks

Sales enablement materials and product documentation
-
Internal knowledge bases, leadership frameworks, and coaching methodologies

Presentations, videos, and learning content
-
Scenario scripts and role-play instructions
Customer Content remains owned by the Customer. IdeaJam processes Customer Content solely to provide and improve Services for that specific Customer. Customer Content is not used to train publicly available AI models (see Section 7).
5. How We Use Information
IdeaJam uses the information we collect to:

Power and deliver the IdeaJam platform, including Practice Mode, Dialog, and Coaching experiences

Configure and operate AI Expert Coaches, including the Ideal 100™ network

Generate AI-driven coaching responses, assessments, and skill recommendations

Provide company administrators with performance dashboards and ROI tracking

Measure employee engagement, skill growth, and program effectiveness

Improve user experience, platform functionality, and AI Coach quality

Provide customer support and respond to inquiries

Communicate with users about the Services, updates, and announcements

Detect fraud, abuse, and security threats

Comply with applicable legal obligations
6. AI-Powered Coaching Services
IdeaJam’s platform is fundamentally AI-powered. The Ideal 100™ network consists of AI Expert Coaches modeled on the reasoning, decision-making approaches, and philosophies of leading professionals, researchers, bestselling authors, and institutions. These coaches are designed to provide credible, human-feeling guidance at scale.
User interactions with AI Expert Coaches may be processed by AI systems to:

Generate personalized coaching responses and recommendations

Facilitate Practice Mode simulations and role-play exercises
-
Deliver Dialog and Coaching session experiences
-
Conduct skill assessments and generate developmental feedback

Improve the quality of Customer-specific AI Expert Coach implementations
Important: AI-generated coaching content is intended to support skill development and learning. Users should not rely solely on AI-generated content for consequential legal, medical, financial, employment, regulatory, or other high-stakes professional decisions. Human judgment remains essential.
7. Our AI Training Commitment
IdeaJam is committed to responsible use of Customer data in AI development:

IdeaJam will NOT use Customer Content to train publicly available foundation models or third-party public AI systems.

Customer Content is used solely to configure and improve Customer-specific AI Expert Coaches, deliver Services, and support Customer projects.

IdeaJam may use aggregated, anonymized, and de-identified data derived from platform usage for product improvement, research, benchmarking, and analytics (see Section 13).
8. Organizational Reporting & Employer Access
When IdeaJam Services are provided through an employer, company, or organizational subscription, designated administrators—such as HR leaders, L&D managers, or executives—may have access to performance data and dashboards, including:

Participation rates and session completion records

Skill growth metrics, assessment scores, and progress over time

Team and organizational engagement statistics
-
ROI metrics and program effectiveness reports

Project participation and coaching program usage data
Users of employer-sponsored IdeaJam accounts should understand that their organization may have access to this performance and engagement data. This is core to IdeaJam’s value proposition: enabling organizations to measure the impact of their investment in employee development.
9. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
IdeaJam uses cookies and similar technologies to authenticate users, maintain sessions, remember preferences, analyze platform usage, and support security functions.
Users may adjust browser settings to control or block cookies. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect platform functionality, including session continuity and personalization features.
10. Disclosure of Information
IdeaJam does not sell personal information. We may disclose information in the following circumstances:
Service Providers
We share information with trusted vendors that help us operate the platform, including:

11. Data Retention
IdeaJam retains information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Services, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
Following termination or expiration of a Customer subscription, Customer Content may be deleted in accordance with our data retention practices and applicable contractual obligations.
12. Security
IdeaJam maintains commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.
No system can guarantee absolute security. Users are responsible for safeguarding their account credentials and should report suspected unauthorized access promptly.
13. Aggregated and De-Identified Data
IdeaJam may create aggregated, anonymized, and de-identified data from platform usage. This data does not identify individual users or specific customer organizations and is owned by IdeaJam.
IdeaJam may use this information for analytics, industry benchmarking, product development, research, and business reporting.
14. International Data Transfers
Information may be processed and stored in the United States and other jurisdictions where IdeaJam or its service providers operate. By using the Services, you consent to such transfers.
15. Children’s Privacy
The Services are designed for workplace and professional use and are not directed to children under the age of 13. IdeaJam does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
16. Your Privacy Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to:

IdeaJam does not sell personal information.

IdeaJam may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our Services, business practices, or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated through appropriate channels, such as email notification or in-platform messaging.
Continued use of the Services following the posting of updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
